The Right Way is unique in that it is led by Christians who have a Muslim background. We call them MBBs (Muslim background believers). The Right Way works:

• To build-up and to strengthen the MBBs in their new found faith and walk with Jesus Christ. We do this by creating “churches/fellowships” for them in communities across the United Kingdom. Here, they find a culturally sensitive atmosphere and a family environment in the place of that which they may have lost upon becoming followers of Jesus Christ.
• To develop leadership capacity amongst MBBs through apprenticeship and discipleship in order to help create a ‘home-grown’ and sustainable community across the United Kingdom.
• To provide, where necessary, a safe home, a refuge, for MBBs who may face persecution and ostracism as a consequence of leaving Islam
• To support the work of churches across United Kingdom who wish to reach Muslims and provide a welcoming environment for MBBs to worship and practice their faith in socially, culturally and spiritually sensitive ways. We do this through multi-racial Christian conferences, resources and publications and through individualised consultancy support

The Right Way has set up an Advisory Council to provide accountability. This comprises MBB leaders as well as other mature Christians.
